Future Concerts Christmas 2010 The concert for Christmas 2010 is likely to include excerpts from Handel's Messiah and Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on Christmas Carols with Tim Donaldson as soloist. In addition it is possible that pieces from Rachmaninov, Brahms and Taverner will be included as well as audience carols. The concerts will be performed at St Mary's Church, Chard and The Minster, Ilminster on 2nd and 3rd of December. Further details of ticketing arrangements, soloists, and other information will be published on the "Next Concert" tab shortly.
Spring 2011 This concert will be Richard Barrell's last as Musical Director with the Society with Mozart's Requiem being performed. This concert will take place at St Mary's Church, Chard on Thursday April 14th and at The Minster, Ilminster on Friday 15th April 2011. Further details of ticketing arrangements, soloists, and other information will be published in due course.
